Liam Payne Casually Confirms His Romance With X-Factor Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

It looks like love is in the air for One Direction's Liam Payne. Shortly after news broke that Liam was dating X-Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, the singer nonchalantly confirmed the dating rumors on Instagram by changing his profile picture to one of him and Cheryl. In the shot, a shirtless Liam is shown cuddled up with Cheryl, who is holding up a peace sign. While they both attended the Brit Awards separately on Wednesday, People reports that the two have been an item since late 2015.

Liam and Cheryl first met when he was competing on the X-Factor UK with his One Direction bandmates back in 2010. Since then, the two managed to stay close after she signed with the same management company as One Direction. Liam was most recently linked to ex-girlfriend Sophia Smith, while Cheryl is in the middle of a divorce from husband Jean-Bernard Versini-Fernandez.
