The British royal family has released a new set of photos of Princess Charlotte, ahead of her first birthday. The pictures, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in April, are the most recent pictures we've seen of the little princess, and she's growing up fast! Dressed in a selection of pretty dresses and cardigans with an array of cute hair accessories, Charlotte is photographed both inside the house and around the grounds of the family home in Norfolk.

These new photos come only a day after we first saw pictures of Charlotte's mom, the Duchess of Cambridge, on the cover of British Vogue, yet another addition to a very busy Spring for the royal family. Following Kate and Prince William's tour of India and Bhutan, they celebrated the Queen's 90th birthday, introduced Prince George to President Obama, and enjoyed their 5th wedding anniversary. We thought we'd had our fill of royal moments for a while, but these new pictures of Charlotte are the very best kind of added bonus!
