Would you force someone to drink the tea you made if they kindly declined? Most likely, no. The same goes for consent. In the above video, a British police department compared inviting someone to tea and consent - the simple analogy truly drives the point home. For example, just because someone wanted tea last week doesn't mean they want tea today. Or, unconscious people don't want tea, because they are unconscious. Really, there are so many possible situations explained by this PSA. It's a reminder of just how clear consent really is and should be.
